Lemon balm seeds are perfect for container growing, as they grow into a compact 30cm tall plant. The soft scalloped leaves have a wonderful bright and sweet citrus flavour. Use it to make herb butter and bake with fish, or infuse a syrup for refreshing summer drinks.

How to grow Lemon Balm

• Sow outdoors Feb-July
• Germinating time 7-15 days.
• Harvest in 40-60 days.
• Keep in full sun to partial shade.
• Water regularly, but not too much.
