Pastificio Del Colle’s “pick and mix” bronze die pasta is an eclectic mix of shapes, colours and sizes. Including bow ties, spirals, ribbons and shells, every mouthful is guaranteed to be different! Use it to make a pasta salad, mixed with tomatoes, olives, torn mozzarella and other favourite Italian flavours.Â
Pastificio Del Colle is based in sunny Puglia, and has been making pasta for 100 years. In recent years, Pastaficio Del Colle has become known for its beautiful coloured pasta shapes, which are all made using natural dyes. The company uses traditional artisan methods – shaping their pasta with bronze dies, selecting the best durum wheat semolina, and allowing the pasta to dry slowly. The company was started by Vito Nettis in 1920, and is now run by his nephew who is also called Vito Nettis!
Ingredients: Durum wheat, water with spinaches (3%) if green, apple and spirulina extract (3%) if blue, paprika (2%) if orange, beet (2%) if violet, curcuma (1%) if yellow, cuttlefish ink (1%) if black. May contain aromas such as: orange, lemon, chilli, parsley and basil.Â
