Tropiway plantain fufu flour is a grain made from mashed plantain, potato granules, cassava and vibrant spices: saffron and turmeric. Fufu flour is traditionally used to make fufu, a West African side dish that’s served alongside soups and stews.
Follow the below instructions for cooking with fufu flour:
- Make the paste in a saucepan by gradually adding water to approximately 136g of fufu which is already precooked.
- Place over medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon for about 4 minutes, or until a smooth but thick consistency is achieved.
- For a thinner or thicker consistency, increase or reduce the quantity of water added.
